Samsung Galaxy Z8 Series hits "record pre‑orders" in SEA, Oceania, including PH

According to the company, pre-orders for the Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra are up nearly 60% versus last year's Fold7, making this Samsung’s strongest foldable launch yet. 

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8

Galaxy Z Fold8 is emerging as the clear favorite of the Series—almost six in every ten Z8 units sold are Fold8 models. 

There are no exact numbers, but Samsung said the Fold8 has become the brand's best-selling foldable during the pre-order window in the Philippines, with peak demand reaching nearly 1 unit per minute since July 22.

Consumers are gravitating toward the Fold8's lighter 201g build and immersive 4:3 display, ideal for short-form video, gaming, and e-books, while the Fold8 Ultra appeals to productivity-focused users with its expansive 8-inch screen and upgraded cameras.

The Flip8, Samsung's sleekest yet, continues to attract those who value portability.

Color picks include Graphite and Lavender for the Fold8, Violet Shadow for the Fold8 Ultra, and Pink for the Flip8.

Samsung also offered double storage, trade‑in savings up to PHP 14,000, three months of Samsung Care+, and six months of Google AI Pro. Buyers also get discounts on Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra2, with Smart Switch and Quick Share making setup easy until August 13.
