HUAWEI MatePad Air lands in PH on Sept 11 with freebies worth up to PHP 33,886

Chinese tech giant HUAWEI confirmed that the MatePad Air is set to land in the Philippines on September 11.

A new sleek-looking tablet with a superb display is coming

According to the company, the new MatePad Air is a tablet for on-the-go users with PC‑like productivity, creative versatility, and a high‑quality display.

In particular, the MatePad Air features a 12‑inch 2.8K Ultra‑clear OLED screen with PaperMatte technology. Its ultra‑slim bezels are designed to deliver an expansive edge‑to‑edge view, while OLED ensures richer colors and sharper details.

In case you missed it, PaperMatte reduces glare and reflections, keeping visuals comfortable for long hours of work, study, or entertainment.

The tablet is extra-thin and light at just 5.3mm thin and 509 grams, respectively. HUAWEI claims that its build is also durable and elegant at the same time, available in an Airy Blue finish.

It also packs a 10,100mAh battery for up to 18 hours of HDR playback, 66W SuperCharge Turbo for rapid refills, and up to 12GB RAM plus 256GB storage with virtual memory expansion.

The device features an upgraded PC‑Level WPS Office, AI HUAWEI Notes, and the enhanced GoPaint app, making the MatePad Air a capable productivity and creative hub. 

Moreover, it supports the new M‑Pencil Pro, which offers precise, natural writing and doubles as an Air Mouse for seamless navigation. Paired with the Smart Magnetic Keyboard, the MatePad Air becomes a portable workstation. Both accessories are powered by NearLink to deliver faster, more stable connections with ultra‑low latency.
