Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max launched: 13.3-inch display, XRING O3 chip, and 12,000mAh battery

Apart from the Xiaomi 18 Fold, the brand introduced a large tablet with flagship internals.

In terms of design, the tablet features a metal unibody construction, a racetrack-style camera module, and XRING branding on the rear panel. It weighs 645 grams and measures 5.67mm in thickness.

In front, the standard version uses a glossy 13.3-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 3408 x 2272, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a 144Hz refresh rate, reaching peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits with a ΔE of approximately 0.47. The higher-end Soft Light variant instead uses a nano-textured display designed to minimize glare.

Powering the device is Xiaomi's new 3.68GHz 3nm XRING O3 deca-core chip with a 16-core Mali-G2-Ultra GPU, 

Early Geekbench results have reportedly exceeded 14,000 points in multi-core testing, with Xiaomi stating that the chip's combined CPU and GPU performance now approaches that of Apple's M5 desktop chip. 

Meanwhile, it is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR6 memory with a speed of 10,667Mbps.

For the battery, it uses a 12,000mAh capacity with 120W USB-C wired charging.

In the camera department, the tablet includes a 32MP front-facing camera and a 50MP rear camera.

Additional hardware features include six microphones and eight speakers for audio input and output.

The device's USB-C port supports DP-in, enabling the tablet to function as an external display for a PC or gaming handheld.

Wireless connectivity features include WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.

Regarding software, the tablet runs HyperOS 4, which supports running up to six applications simultaneously through split-screen multitasking.

It is currently available in China. No word yet if it will become available in the Philippines.
