Thin and lightweight with Pro-level productivity

Meanwhile, a PaperMatte version of the screen is also available, designed to mimic the texture of paper for writing and drawing while reducing eye strain during extended reading or video viewing.
On the other hand, the standard, non-PaperMatte variant is also offered, with both versions sharing a 92 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Powering the device is a Kirin T93C processor, paired with a built-in suite of AI tools intended to support office and creative workloads without performance issues. It is paired with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
In terms of battery, the tablet has a 10,100mAh battery and charges using USB-C 66W SuperCharge.

On the software side, the MatePad Air ships with a PC-level version of WPS Office, which includes AI-assisted features and compatibility with Microsoft Office file formats.
The tablet also comes preloaded with GoPaint, an application for digital drawing and art creation, and Huawei Notes, designed for note-taking during meetings or classes.
It is also available in multiple color options and supports accessories such as the Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard and the M-Pencil Pro.
Speaking of a stylus, the M-Pencil supports Air Mouse Mode, allowing users to scroll on the screen using just a pen.
