Leak: OPPO Reno X wide display phone major details emerge

OPPO has reportedly been developing a wide candybar-style smartphone, a form factor recently revisited by Huawei’s Pura X View. Earlier leaks indicated that OPPO's device would be named the Reno X.

A tipster on X has now shared what are said to be the phone’s main specifications. The device is reported to feature a 6.35-inch flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of either 16:9 or 16:10. By comparison, the Pura X View uses a 5:3 aspect ratio, which falls between those two.

The Reno X is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series chipset, though the specific model was not stated. 

Furthermore, the leak lists a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. The phone is also reported to have a metal frame.

From the looks of it, the device is likely positioned as OPPO's upper mid-range Reno lineup rather than the company’s Find flagship series. An earlier rumor also suggested it would include a 7,000 mAh battery.

None of the details have been confirmed by OPPO, so please take them with a grain of salt.
