Today, gamers demand smooth frame rates, precise controls, and efficient thermal management that can compete with dedicated gaming consoles. With its latest gaming setup, Infinix takes a comprehensive approach, pairing a high-performance phone with dedicated accessories that work seamlessly together.
In line with Infinix's design vision, 70% of this ecosystem's gaming power comes from the GT NX Controller and GT NX Station, while the remaining 30% comes from the GT Verse, which includes the GT 50 Pro, GT Watch 5 Pro, and GT Buds 5.
Let's explore all five devices, assessing their design, hardware capabilities, real-world user feedback, and value in the Philippine market.
Let’s take a closer look at the Infinix GT NX Controller, GT NX Station, GT 50 Pro, GT Watch 5 Pro, and GT Buds 5.
Infinix GT NX Controller
 |
| Infinix GT NX Controller |
The GT NX Controller features an integrated Quick-Snap modular design, complete with comfortable, laser-textured grips that prevent slipping during long gaming sessions. When folded, its dimensions are 145.78 x 92.15 x 39.67 mm, and it weighs 219 grams. The controller can accommodate phones with a thickness of up to 11.85 mm and a width of 81.7 mm.
A notable feature is the dual RGB status indicator rings, which change colors to signify the active mode: blue for Native Mode, green for Mapping Mode, yellow for Split Mode, and red for Low Battery or Charging.
The GT NX Controller is the standout accessory in the GT lineup, featuring a Global First Pixel-Level FPS Precision Touchpad that measures 33 x 33 mm with a resolution of 2000 x 2000. This innovative touchpad allows players to aim their cameras smoothly and precisely.
The controller offers five different play modes to accommodate various gaming styles:
- Mode 1 - Left Controller + Smartphone
- Mode 2 - Dual Controllers + Smartphone
- Mode 3 - Integrated Full-Size Controller
- Mode 4 - Split Controllers
- Mode 5 - Left Controller + Smartphone in Portrait Mode
For connectivity, the controller employs Bluetooth Tri-Chip Fast Link, ensuring instant, lag-free button responses of under 20 milliseconds. It also features Industry-Leading FPS Tactical Haptics Sync, which provides three levels of vibration strength through the XArena app. With a powerful internal battery, the controller supports over 22 hours of continuous gameplay.
Game support includes popular titles across two modes:
- Native Mode supports games like Blood Strike, Asphalt Legends, and Asphalt 8.
- Mapping Mode works with titles such as MLBB, PUBG, Free Fire, and HOK.
In real-world testing with Blood Strike, the fast-paced, free-to-play mobile battle royale created in official partnership with Infinix, we are happy to say that we had an elevated experience. Clamping the controller to the phone keeps the screen completely clear of thumbs, preventing accidental touch mistakes.

We never experienced delays in button inputs. The drift-free Hall Effect thumbsticks and triggers offer precise control, while the ergonomic grips feel comfortable and familiar for console gamers.
Our thoughts
Starting at PHP 2,399 for the standard version and PHP 2,499 for the official Blood Strike Edition packaging, the GT NX Controller offers an incredible set of features for a mobile gamepad under PHP 2,500. Setting up custom button mapping for games not automatically recognized in Mapping Mode takes a couple of minutes to set up in the app.
Infinix GT NX Station
 |
| Infinix GT NX Controller |
The GT NX Station is designed as a desk dock, featuring a sleek dark cyber-mecha body with built-in Immersive Esports Dynamic RGB Lighting around its base. This device securely sits on any desk or setup, allowing your phone to connect directly to an external monitor or TV without the hassle of tangled wires. An attached USB-C cable plugs directly into your phone, enabling charging, screen mirroring, and accessory connections simultaneously.
The GT NX Station transforms into a Combat Setup with 9-in-1 Expansion, turning your phone into a desktop-style gaming station. It includes an HDMI port for universal extending or mirroring on any screen, a fast Ethernet port for lag-free wired internet, multiple USB ports for connecting a keyboard and mouse, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot, and a USB-C power pass-through port.
To support intense gaming sessions, it features an industry-first built-in TEC Active Cooling Station, which actively cools the phone to prevent overheating, slowdowns, and frame drops.
We praise the GT NX Station for its ability to facilitate mobile gaming on a monitor or large TV screen. Playing fast-paced games like Blood Strike on a big display is seamless, with minimal to no lag or audio delays.
The built-in active cooling fan keeps the phone cool to the touch, even during extended hours of display output and fast charging. We are impressed by how easy it is to set up and how much better games are when played on a big screen with a controller.
Our thoughts
Priced starting at PHP 2,699, the GT NX Station offers excellent versatility. It features a 9-in-1 expansion hub, built-in active cooling, and supports big-screen video output, making it an affordable option for bridging mobile and desktop gaming.
Our only concern is that to provide full power to all nine expansion ports while fast-charging your phone, you'll need to connect a high-wattage wall charger to the dock.

| Infinix GT 50 Pro |
The Infinix GT 50 Pro features a futuristic "Cyber Mecha" look with clean geometric lines, semi-transparent back accents, and customizable lighting. Measuring 162.44 x 77.23 x 8.15 mm and weighing 198 grams, the phone feels slim and comfortable to hold. The front features a sharp 6.78-inch AMOLED display with ultra-thin borders, protected by strong Gorilla Glass 7i.
Serving as the foundation of the GT setup, the GT 50 Pro boasts an ultra-smooth 144 FPS Gaming Ecosystem screen built for fast motion. Designed for fast-paced action titles like Blood Strike, it includes shoulder-mounted Pressure-Sense GT Triggers for rapid aiming, shooting, and quick shortcuts like taking screenshots. To keep performance smooth, it uses HydroFlow Liquid Cooling to draw heat away and prevent lag during heated matches. It comes equipped with up to 12GB of RAM (supporting up to 24GB extended RAM) and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Reviewers and users consistently highlight the phone's ability to maintain high, stable frame rates in demanding games. The Pressure-Sense GT Triggers are a user favorite, allowing players to perform complex four-finger controls comfortably. The HydroFlow Liquid Cooling keeps the phone cool, avoiding thermal throttling and lag drops.
Our thoughts
Priced at PHP 29,999 for the 12GB+256GB model and PHP 34,999 for the 12GB+512GB model, the GT 50 Pro delivers smooth 144 FPS gaming, built-in triggers, and advanced cooling at a competitive price point. The bold gamer design stands out, which might feel a bit flashy if you prefer a standard, subtle everyday phone appearance.

| Infinix GT Watch 5 Pro |
The GT Watch 5 Pro features a durable metal case and a vibrant 1.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen that delivers high-definition clarity. It feels solid and premium on the wrist while remaining comfortable and not bulky. The watch comes with a comfortable silicone strap and includes an additional interchangeable nylon strap in the box. Additionally, it is rated for 5ATM water resistance.
When paired with the GT 50 Pro, the GT Watch 5 Pro allows you to receive real-time notifications directly on your wrist while gaming. Its built-in sensors enable real-time heart rate monitoring, helping you track your heart rate during intense gaming sessions. The watch is powered by a long-lasting battery, providing anywhere from 7 to 21 days of use on a single charge.
Gamers appreciate the convenience of checking incoming messages and alerts without having to pause or minimize their game. Reviewers have noted the multi-week battery life as a significant advantage over other smartwatches that require daily charging.
Our thoughts
Priced at PHP 2,699, the GT Watch 5 Pro is a practical wearable offering a crisp AMOLED display, long battery life, water resistance, and convenient notification syncing. Smartwatch features focus primarily on fitness, health tracking, and notifications rather than installing heavy third-party apps.

The GT Buds 5 come in a stylish, cyber-inspired charging case with metallic details. These earbuds are designed for comfort and come with customizable silicone tips. Each earbud weighs approximately 4.2 grams, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit during long gaming sessions without feeling heavy.
Engineered for clear directional sound, the GT Buds 5 feature Deep Noise Cancellation of up to 50dB, effectively blocking out background noise to help you stay focused. The sound is powered by large 12mm dynamic drivers and enhanced by Dolby Spatial Audio, creating a 3D audio environment. This allows players to pinpoint subtle in-game sound cues, such as enemy footsteps and reloading sounds, with high precision. Additionally, they offer a 44ms ultra-low latency gaming mode, ensuring audio is perfectly synchronized with the on-screen action.
Users have noted that the noise cancellation effectively reduces ambient room noise and fan sounds. The audio is always in sync in-game and when streaming videos or audio. The Dolby Spatial Audio has received praise for providing a competitive advantage in shooting games, making it easier to identify the direction of enemy movements.
Our thoughts
At PHP 1,999, the GT Buds 5 offer impressive audio performance for their price, combining deep Noise Cancellation, spatial audio, and low-latency gaming mode in an affordable package. Spatial audio is tuned specifically for gaming and movies, so listening to standard music tracks may sound best when adjusted using standard equalizer presets.
