Tonik Digital Bank, Inc. has launched mobile load, telco promo bundles, and mobile game credits inside the Tonik app, extending the bank’s relationship with customers from occasional banking moments into daily ones.
Customers can buy load and promos for themselves or anyone else by entering a mobile number, with the load or promo credited directly to that number—no separate voucher to redeem. Game credits are delivered via SMS to the number entered at purchase.
Tonik said these are deliberately small transactions, and that is the point. A customer typically opens a banking app only a handful of times a month, while load top-ups and game credits happen far more often. Bringing them into the bank app gives customers a reason to return weekly rather than monthly, without switching between separate apps for everyday needs.
Load and game credits are small purchases, but they happen every week. Every one of them is another reason to stay with us instead of bouncing between five different apps to get simple things done. That is how an account turns into a relationship, said Greg Krasnov, founder and CEO of Tonik.
Customers can purchase mobile load for major telco providers including Globe, Smart, TNT, TM, Dito, and GOMO, along with promo bundles covering data, calls, and SMS.
The app also offers game credits for titles such as Mobile Legends, Roblox, Rio Games, Genshin Impact, and PUBG Mobile. Load, promos, and game credits can be sent to any mobile number, not just the purchaser’s own. Mobile load and promo bundles are credited instantly, game credits arrive via SMS, and all transactions carry zero additional fees.
Tonik said the credits available through the app cover mobile and PC gaming platforms only; it does not offer credits, PINs, or vouchers for online gambling, e-casino, or e-sabong products.
The expansion supports, rather than replaces, Tonik’s lending-led strategy. Lending remains the core of the business, with savings, payments, and everyday services meant to widen the customer relationship around that core. Tonik reached cash flow breakeven in the first quarter of 2026.
