For this initiative, the museum partnered with the National Museum Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (NMEMPC).

The passport is now available for purchase at the National Museum of Fine Arts Shop, the National Museum of Anthropology Shop, and the National Museum of Natural History Shop, priced at PHP 450.

According to Facebook page Travel Up, this paid version follows an earlier promotional passport that was given out for free last May, with very limited pieces. The new version includes updated entries for 22 National Museums nationwide, including NMP-Baler, plus six blank pages reserved for museums still being built.

Travel Up also said each of the three Central shops was issued 300 pieces, citing museum staff.

To collect stamps, visitors present their ID at each museum’s registration desk; every National Museum has its own stamp design. Travel Up also noted that limited-edition “Una Bulaquena” beep cards are being sold at the National Museum of Fine Arts Shop.

In the coming weeks, the NMP Passport will also be made available at regional component museum shops managed by the NMEMPC.

Stamp collectors, enjoy!
