After several months of teasing, Lenovo finally announced the follow-up to their highly successful K3 Note / A7000 Plus smartphone. Unsurprisingly called as the Lenovo K4 Note, this handset rocks seemingly mouthwatering specs and special features at a low asking price.

The Lenovo Vibe K4 Note is a 5.5 Inch handset that capitalize on using the Full HD IPS technology for your pleasing viewing experience. This handset also runs on a 64 bit MT6753 octa core processor by MediaTek paired with the mid-range goodness of Mali T720 GPU and 3 GB of RAM to help you get that seamless multitasking experience. It also has 16 GB of expandable internal storage up to 128 GB.

The Vibe K4 Note now rocks a 13 MP camera with phase detection auto focus, the could be the same 5 MP sensor in front and a larger 3,300 mAh of battery capacity together with NFC, LTE and dual micro SIM card slot.

A music centric phone without the need to shell that much!

What I liked with the changes that Lenovo did here is they included two 1.5 W stereo speakers in front to maximize the capability of the Dolby Atmos technology and could be the most affordable handset with WM8281 HiFi DAC by Wolfson (same with Marshall London) for your entry level audiophile grade listening experience.

This phone is priced at just RS 11,999 and will be available in India starting January 19. There's no word yet about international availability, but we can expect Lenovo to rename this for the PH market just like what they did with the K3 Note / A7000 Plus thing.

Is that enough to make this a killer phone? For me yes, a killer multimedia phone on a budget, the inclusion of that WM8281 chip alone on an entry midrange phone makes this phone a steal!
