Lenovo Vibe K5 And Vibe K5 Plus Announced! Next Gen Snapdragon Entry Midrange Devices Under 7K Pesos!

Lenovo is clearly targeting the budget midrange segment today as they're internationally releasing great devices left and right. This time, they unveiled the Lenovo K5 and K5 Plus at the MWC 2016 in Barcelona Spain which might surely catch the interest of individuals who wants a nice phone on a tight budget.

Both the Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Pro appears to be metal framed and shares identical look and overall specs except for the screen resolution and processor used. The more affordable Vibe K5 will only feature an HD screen and Snapdragon 415 SoC, while the Vibe K5 Plus has a sharper FHD screen with a more powerful Snapdragon 616 octa core chip.

As I said earlier, the rest of the specs are the same as both has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable ROM,  2,750 mAh battery, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP selfie camera, LTE connectivity and 2 speakers with Dolby ATMOS technology.

So far, that's all the information we got about the above-mentioned handsets. While the LG G5 and Galaxy S7 is definitely the star of the MWC, Lenovo's affordable offerings deserves some attention as well.

The Lenovo Vibe K5 is priced at USD 129 (Around 6K Pesos), while the Vibe K5 Pro will retail at USD 149 (Around 7K Pesos). Global availability is still unknown as of this moment. Now, let's just hope that all of them will arrive here in the Philippines soon as well.
