Oppo R9 And R9 Plus Revealed! Both Features Large 16 MP Selfie Cameras!

Oppo just released two new upper midrange phones called the R9 and R9 Plus. Both features the same slim metal clad design, has large 16 MP selfie camera and fingerprint sensors at the back but differs on screen size and the rest of the internals.

Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus

First the Oppo R9 features a 5.5 inch FHD AMOLED screen with 401 ppi and runs with MediaTek's MT6755 Helio P10 octa core chip clocked at 2.0 GHz paired with Mali T860 GPU. It also has large 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB expandable internal storage and 2,850 mAh battery w/ VOOC Flash Charge.

Camera-wise this device has a lower 13 MP PDAF ready cam at the back and a larger 16 MP selfie camera in front. Interestingly the cam in front doesn't have an LED flash.

It also goes with LTE connectivity, dual SIM support, fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop w/ Color OS 3.0 skin on top.

It goes with 6 inch FHD AMOLED screen with 367 ppi, runs with the powerful and new 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 652 octa core chip paired with Adreno 510 GPU, has 4 GB RAM, 64 / 128 GB expandable internal storage and beefier 4,120 mAh battery w/ VOOC Flash Charge tech.

The Oppo R9 Plus also rocks a better 16 MP PDAF sensor at the back and 16 MP selfie camera in front.
