UleFone Vienna back and colors There's a rose gold variant |
The UleFone Vienna will incorporate a sleek looking metal like semi rounded design all over the phone that will use a 5.5 inch 2.5D curved FHD screen from Panasonic w/ oleophobic coating to prevent fingerprint smudges. It will run on the popular and efficient 64 Bit MT6735 octa core chip clocked at 1.3 GHz paired with Mali T720 midrange grade GPU.
What's great here is UleFone opted to use a larger 3 GB RAM for better multitasking and an expandable 32 GB ROM to store the much bigger lossless audio files (normally 10x the size of an MP3 file). It will also have a Sony 3,250 mAh battery, 13 MP Panasonic MN34172 rear camera, LTE connectivity, IR Blaster and Fingerprint sensor at the back that can store up to 5 fingers and can be used to take photos and record audio.
However, UleFone failed to indicate the selfie camera specs and the exact Android OS version of this device.
A true HiFi phone?
The UleFone Vienna used an audio solution called the NXP Smart Audio PA that has both DAC and OPAMP combined. It goes with a should be flat frequency range of 20 KHz to 20 KHz that's audible to human ears, 109 dB high SNR and impressive <0.01% low THD to ensure that you'll get audio experience.
UleFone also stated taht you'll get a broader sound field (they mean soudstage), will have rich and clear details, better for vocals (mids) and will be analytics.
Now let's hope that UleFone hired great audio engineers here to properly tune and maximize that setup.
