Samsung Galaxy C7 Now Official, Goes WIth 5.7 Inch FHD Screen, Snapdragon 625 And 4 GB RAM!

In a launch event in China, Samsung just made their new "C" series of smartphones official. One of them is the phablet sized Samsung Galaxy C7 at appears to be metal clad based on rendered images.

It features a 5.7 inch FHD Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, this is probably the first device to run with the new Snapdragon 625 octa core chip clocked at 2 GHz paired with Adreno 506 GPU.

This phone also goes with a meaty 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB / 64 GB expandable ROM options and good enough 3,300 mAh of battery capacity w/ quick charge 3.0.

The said handset carries a 16 MP rear camera w/ f/1.9 aperture and dual tone LED flash and a selfie camera that has f/1.9 aperture lens too. It'll also include LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC and dual SIM card slots. The new Samsung Galaxy C7 measures is pre-loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.

On paper it appears that this is a rare bang per buck midrange Samsung phone.
The 32 GB model is priced at USD 396 and the 64 GB variant is set to retail at USD 427. That's around 18.5K and 20K Pesos out of straight conversion without tax and duties yet.

Now let's hope that this seemingly bang per buck phone from Samsung will arrive the Philippine shores too.
