|Mi Band 2 announced!|
Unlike the Mi Band 1S, this now have an OLED display that enables you see your progress in a glance. It can also be used to check your heart rate by just tapping the button in front or lifting your wrist. Apart from that the Mi Band can now show time and monitor sleep.
|There's a military grade ADI sensor included|
The Mi Band 2 utilizes a power efficient ADI accelerometer and hear rate sensor, upgraded pedometer algorithm, IP67 water resistance, 2nd gen Bluetooth 4.0 and can last up to 20 days on a single charge.
However, while 20 hours is still long for a fitness band, it's noticeably lower than the 30 days battery life of the older Mi Band that doesn't have a screen.
It's made out of medical grade hypoallergenic silicon band which is great even for those who has sensitive skins and an anodized 0.05 mm thin button rest flush on the display.
The Mi Band 2 will come in black, blue, green and orange which will be on sale this June 7 in China only (for now) with an SRP of USD 23. There's no word yet about its international availability.
