In China, Huawei silently announced the G9 Plus. It's a metal clad with rounded corners midrange handset that could be the main competitor of the Asus ZenFone 3 soon.

The Huawei G9 Plus is equipped with a sharp 5.5 inch FHD screen with 2.5D curve glass that adds more beauty to the phone. Under the hood, there's a 64 bit Snapdragon 625 octa core processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU powering this phone for a surefire snappy performance. It's also paired with either 3 / 4 GB RAM, 32 / 64 GB internal storage, and large 3,340 mAh of battery capacity.
Camera-wise, this phone loads with a 16 MP main camera with PDAF and OIS. In front, there's an 8 MP cam for selfies and video calls.
This phone is also packed with WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, fingerprint scanner, OTG support, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS w/ the extra smooth EMUI 4.1 on top.

In China, the 3 GB RAM / 32 GB ROM edition is priced at 2399 Yuan which is roughly around 16.7K in Philippine Peso. There's no word about the price of the beefier 4 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM edition and its international availability yet.
