If you’ve been on the hunt for a projector to have a fresher visual entertainment experience inside your humble abode but the space seems limited, BenQ has you covered.  Leading DLP brand BenQ has recently announced the i500, an ultra-compact projector designed for tight spaces without compromising on features and performance.

For starters, the BenQ i500 takes wireless streaming apps and rich audio all in one compact device. It comes ready for popular streaming services such as YouTube by KODI, Spotify, Vimeo, DailyMotion, and so much more. If you have your own media library, you can even plug a flash drive for instant movie shows. Heck, there’s even an available game pad and a set of controllers to give you interactive entertainment on the big screen.

Furthermore, the i500 comes with dual 5Wx2 chambered speakers to deliver crisp audio and rich sound quality even if you don’t connect it to an external speaker. Not only that, but you can also feel free to connect your smartphones and use it as a Bluetooth speaker system for house parties and whatnot.

There’s still no word as to when stocks will arrive in the Philippines. And if you’re interested in buying one for you when units arrive, the i500 comes with a street price of $749. That’s around 36K when converted to Philippine Pesos, and that’s still exclusive of taxes and duties.
