The analysis

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has a beautiful design paired with powerful specs, decent battery capacity, and great cameras (Dual Pixel tech) that's worthy of a flagship moniker at its price tag.

Apple's iPhone 7 Plus on the other hand has several improvements in speed, display, water resistance, and inclusion of a dual camera module (12 MP regular + 12 MP wide telephoto lens) behind. However, its still the most expensive of the bunch and doesn't have a headphone jack anymore.

Lastly, Huawei's P9 is impressively capable even if its the most affordable among the 3. We were surprised on its high-level of craftsmanship / design (arguably sleeker than iPhone 7 Plus and just lag a tad with S7 Edge), speedy performance, long battery life, security features, and great 12 MP RGB + 12 MP Monochrome cameras at the back.

Verdict

Samsung's Galaxy S7 Edge has proven that it is still a great handset even if it was released earlier this year. It still can match or beat most of its flagship competitors today and it has arguably the most stylish look of the bunch.

On the other hand, Apple's iPhone 7 Plus didn't have much change in its design, but it focused on upgrading almost everything else inside. So, even with the lack of a headphone jack, this handset is still the one to get for Apple users.

To our surprise, the Huawei's P9 showed us that it can keep-up with its competitors in aesthetics, performance, battery, and camera even if it has a lower price tag.

In the end, based on what we discussed, all 3 phones are GREAT in their own way. Just choose, the right phone that fits you, your budget, and lifestyle.
