Sharp Aquos R With Snapdragon 835 And EMOP AI Announced!

Sharp just unveiled the Aquos R in Japan, a highly interesting smartphone equipped with good looking design, beastly specs, and advanced features.

To be precise, the Sharp Aquos R is a water and dust resistant device sporting a 5.3 inch WQHD IGZO screen w/ HDR 10 compliance and 120 Hz refresh rate. It's powered by a Snapdragon 835 chip paired Adreno 540 graphics, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, and 3,160 mAh of Quick Charge 3.0 ready battery. It also has a ROBOKOKU charging dock that faces the user whenever the phone is docked.

On the camera part, there's a 22.6 MP f/1.9 w/ PDAF, OIS, and LED flash and 16 MP front facing camera w/ wide angle support. What's interesting here is its Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS has a built-in AI called EMOP. It can be triggered by saying Hello Emop.
