Enter Tronsmart Presto PB310, a sleek power bank w/ ample 10,000 mAh of battery capacity and complete safety support for nearly all quick charging protocols.

In particular, it is the first power bank w/ Huawei FCP (fast charging protocol) technology in the world.

The good news? This power bank is readily available in our country for just PHP 1,499 through Lazada and major gadget stores.

Gladly, we were able to purchase our own unit for this review. Impressive on paper right? Read on!

The way Tronsmart constructed this power bank is quite good! It's made out of mostly plastic build, but it has rubber like material on the on the sides and corners to make it withstand even hard drops.

It isn't made out of metal, but this build is still better than your average power bank!

The ports
The ports

Design-wise, it is minimalist and slim. It doesn't have the most striking look around, but it gets the job done for me. In particular, it I like its rectangular shape and it is slim enough to fit the pockets of most bags and even pants.

In addition, we like the way it was coated with rubber matte like paint as it adds better grip and makes it more comfortable to hold.

It could just be prone to dirt smudges, but you can easily clean it using wet cloth or wipes.

Note: Do not use alcohol to clean its body as it will damage the paint.

Performance

At 10,000 mAh, it has fairly large battery for everyday use, but it doesn't have the largest battery capacity for the price. But, this Tronsmart Presto PB310 is arguably the most impressive for the price for us.

Why? It's the only power bank that has support for Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0, VoltiQ, and Huawei's FCP or fast charging protocol for the price.

It has two ports, a green USB port and a black USB port. The green port lets you can access the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 w/ up to 4x faster charging speed, VoltiQ that intelligently and safely predicts the charging power input of your device up to 2.4A, and Huawei FCP.

On the other hand, the black port only has VoltiQ charging tech, but we are not complaining. It's 2.4A charging is still more than 2x faster than the 1A chargers of most budget smartphones.

Performance-wise, we are confident to say that it is as good as advertised!

In particular, we were able to charge our Quick Charge 3.0 ready LG G6 at just 1 hour and 35 minutes from 0 to 100 percent. That's almost as good as the 1 hour 30 mins charging speed we measured using its stock Quick Charge 3.0 charger.

For Huawei devices, we tried charging our P10 Plus and P9 Plus. While it doesn't have the Huawei 5V SuperCharge technology, it has the still fast charging Huawei Fast Charge protocol.

We were able to fully charge the Huawei P10 Plus in less than 2 hours and the Huawei P9 Plus at 2 hours and 30 mins. Not bad at all. That's still faster than what we experienced with any power bank we have right now.

Moreover, we observed that the charging speed is still the same even if you charge two devices at the same time.

While we don't have the tools to measure if its safety features, Tronsmart claims that it has an impressive 10s circuit protection.

It includes: electrostatic protection, input overoltage protectuon, outputover voltage protection, short circuit protection, intelligent output identification, input overcurrent protection, output overcurrent protection, charging time protection, temperature protection, and battery over current protection.

In terms of charging speed, it even has support for Quick Charge 3.0 input. It was able to charge our Tronsmart power bank around 3 to 3.5 hours! That's crazy impressive considering its large 10,000 mAh of juice. If you'll use a regular charger w/ 2A expect a slower 4 - 6 hours charging speed.

This power bank also has 4-LED battery indicator to let your check how much power you have left.

From our observation, this power bank doesn't get hot as well. Impressive!

However, it doesn't have other nifty features like a lamp or torch that you can use in case you need light in the dark.

But, overall, this is arguably the most impressive power bank we ever had for the price yet.

Note: In the future, maybe Tronsmart can add OPPO's VOOC, OnePlus's Dash Charge,d and Huawei's even faster SuperCharge tech.

Pros - Compact and stylish, universal quick / fast charging support, 2 ports, safety measures
Cons - No built-in torch, prone to dirt smudges

Verdict

Priced at just PHP 1,499 at Lazada Philippines, the Tronsmart Presto PB310 is the most impressive universal fast charging power bank from any price range we have in our arsenal yet.

Design is minimalist, performance is outstanding, it has safe charging protocols safe and battery capacity is more than enough to charge your smartphone 2 to 4x. Moreover, it almost has no major weakness so far.
