Xiaomi Mi A1 Android 8.0 Oreo update now available

On Twitter, Xiaomi announced that they're ending the year with an O. Xiaomi Mi A1 users will now start receiving the long-awaited Android 8.0 Oreo OS update.

Android 8.0 Oreo for Mi A1 now available!

Xiaomi noted that Mi A1 users should make sure that they already have the latest December update (7.12.19) to receive the Oreo upgrade.

The Android Oreo update brings several UI upgrades together with several optimizations. Oreo have better battery management, picture-in-picture (PIP) mode, snoozing individual notification, adaptive icons, keyboard navigation, and audio upgrades.

In addition, the update brings fast charging support for the Mi A1! The update size is 1107.4MB.
