At the on-going CES 2018, Sony also launched the Xperia XA2, the follow-up to the affordable yet capable Xperia XA1 mid-ranger last year.

Like the bigger XA2 Ultra, the regular XA2 now features a rear facing fingerprint scanner behind and a brand new processor inside.
It now has a fingerprint scanner behind!

The Sony Xperia XA2 now has bigger screen as well. It now has a 5.2-inch FHD panel coming from just 5-inch HD screen last year.

Inside, it now has the speedier 64-bit Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. Sony also dramatically improved its battery capacity from just 2,300mAh to 3,300mAh. It now has Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology as well.
