Xiaomi Unveils Ninebot Mini, A Crazy Cool Affordable Segway For Just 14,500 Pesos!

Huga Barra of Xiaomi has another surprise for everyone in the mobile tech industry. He just announced on Facebook a product unlikely to be released by a mobile brand, a motorized personal transporter (Segway) called the Ninebot Mini.

Meet Ninebot Mini

The Ninebot Mini is a battery powered scooter that can be steered and controlled by sticking between your legs up to 360 degree spin. It's a self balancing machine made out of magnesium alloy to ensure durability that can reach speeds of 16 km / hour and can even climb 15 degree incline spots. You can also monitor your speed and other data using your smartphone.

A cool affordable segway

What's great with this is it's ultra portable, this machine just weighs at 12.8 kg making it a compact personal transporter that you can bring anywhere. Another cool thing with it is, in a single charge you can travel up to 22 km!

If I were to use this one, that would be more than enough for my daily travel of just around 15 km per day. This bad boy is priced at just CNY 1,999 which is around 14,511.70 Pesos when directly converted.

Hopefully, it will also be available outside of China so we can experience this internationally.
