Great news! Asus via ZenTalk just announced that it fulfilled its promise of providing the much better Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to the ZenFone Zoom.

As a refresher, the ZenFone Zoom, the slimmest handset with 3x optical zoom is the most premium among the ZenFone 2 line. It also features powerful Intel chip, 4 GB RAM, and 64 or 128 GB of expandable internal storage.

Going back topic, just like the other ZenFone devices that was recently updated, the Marshmallow update will remove most of the unnecessary bloats found with the Zoom. It'll also make the UI look better, have a smoother feel, be more battery efficient, and improved overall performance.
