PLDT And Smart Together With DOT Will Roll Out Smart WiFi In Major Transport Hubs Nationwide!

As a part of PLDT and Smart's nation building and the advocacy of #InternetForAll campaign, the telco giant just signed a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) together with DOT (Department of Transportation) for the rollout of Smart WiFi in major transport hubs in the country.

This continuation of PLDT's near 1 Billion Pesos investment to ramp up Smart WiFi nationwide includes: major airports, seaports, and bus terminals all over the country, as well as mass transport systems, MRT and LRT. 

To be more specific, this wireless connectivity will be available inside the station platforms, and light railway vehicle (LRV) as well as on the street level of the entire lines of MRT3, and LRT 1 and 2. 

It'll strengthen data connectivity with the installation of Smart WiFi, to make it more stable and faster that shall be useful for anyone who needs a reliable internet access in those above-mentioned areas to serve millions of users.
