Report: Huawei GR5 2017 With Dual Cameras Is Priced At PHP 13990!
Huawei has officially started rolling out the GR5 2017 w/ dual camera setup in the Philippines. As a matter of fact, it is already available in some Huawei concept stores in the metro with an affordable price tag.

As a quick recap, the Huawei GR5 2017 (Honor 6X or Mate 9 Lite), is the company's follow-up to the successful GR5 last year. Checking what it has in store for us, the handset boast a metal clad body with a good type of 5.5 inch FHD IPS screen w/ 2.5D curved glass.

Under the hood, it is no joke as well. The phone is packed with a 64 bit Kirin 655 octa core processor with 2.1 GHz clock speed and Mali T830 graphics unit to handle casual mobile graphics. It's paired with ample 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage, and large enough 3,340 mAh of battery capacity.
Dual camera for everyone!
Going to its highlight, this handset is one of the most affordable yet still capable dual camera setup in the country right now. It has a 12 MP w/ 6P lens and PDAF paired with 2 MP secondary sensor to capture depth. Like the Huawei P9, the Huawei GR5 2017 can create good background blur and refocus your subject even after taking the photo. It is also complete with a robust full manual camera w/ long exposure modes for taking night shots and etc.
