Exciting Details On The Samsung Galaxy S8 And S8+

Yesterday, Evan Blass of Venture Beat has leaked an alleged image of the upcoming Galaxy S8! The famous leakster also revealed some exciting details / rumors about the next great Samsung flagship Android smartphone.

1. No more traditional navigation button - For the first time in seven years, Samsung won't use the traditional navigation buttons below in favor of a larger screen on a smaller body. On-screen keys should be available.
2. There will be two sizes - The South Korean giant is prepping a 5.8 (S8) and 6.2 inch (S8+) QHD Super AMOLED curved edge panels that covers 83 percent of the front panel. It has a slightly different 18.5:9 ratio.
3. It'll be a monster grade device - Depending on sales region, the Samsung Galaxy S8 series will be powered by either Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 or Samsung Exynos in 10-nanometer fabrication. Performance-wise, it'll be 11 percent faster than the Galaxy S7 with 23 percent faster graphics, and 20 percent better power efficiency.
4. Battery - The Galaxy S8 will have 3,000 mAh and S8+ will have 3,500 mAh of battery. Both will be rechargeable via USB Type C port.
5. RAM and storage - Both will come with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internals storage baseline. They'll be expandable up to 256 GB via micro SD card slot.
6. The cameras - The 12 MP f/1.7 main cameras are still present w/ improvements on software. The selfie camera is now higher at 8 MP.
7. Iris scanning is present - Just like the Galaxy Note 7
8. Fingerprint scanner - It'll be visible behind for the first time on a Samsung smartphone

For the pricing, the 5.8 inch model is expected to retail at 799 Euros while the 6.2 inch variant is priced at 6.2 inch at 899 Euros. It'll launch this March 29 and might go on sale this April 21, 2017.
