Apple iPhone X: First Camera Samples
Improved dual cameras! Better than ever?

It still has the 12MP + 12MP cameras, but Apple made the aperture size of its secondary telephoto lens wider and brighter. Coming from from just f/2.8, it is now at f/2.4 paired w/ the primary f/1.8 shooter!

That's paired w/ dual OIS, laser AF, PDAF, and quad LED flash LED flash

In front, the selfie camera is at 7MP f/2.2.

On the software part, Apple has improved the portrait mode of the phone. You can now choose from natural light, studio light, contour light, stage light, and stage light mono.

That works for both the main cameras and the selfie camera.

Here's our first few shots!

So far, the iPhone X is as good as advertised. Point and shoot performance using the main cameras is simply one of the very best right now. It is right up there w/ the Galaxy Note 8 and Mate 10 series.

Colors are very punchy, well saturated, and has lesser grain than ever. What I like the most is the phones lowlight performance! It isn't that noisy for a phone camera.

Sometimes, the main camera renders images w/ slightly yellowish tone though. But, this is just nitpicking on our part.

The selfie cameras are okay too! It is a bit darker than what I liked, but, details are on point!

Superb!

The iPhone X's price in the Philippines starts at PHP 63,990 at Beyond the Box. But, you can get it cheaper via postpaid plans.

For example, at Smart, we were able to get the iPhone X for PHP 3,199 per month. That's Plan 1,499 + PHP 1,700 device fee for 24 months.
