Samsung Galaxy A37 5G launched in PH: 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED, Exynos 1480, PHP 25,990 starting price

Samsung officially launches the updated Galaxy A Series in the Philippines including the A37 5G.

Nearly same phone with optimized software

The new phone offers four color options namely Awesome Charcoal, Graygreen, White, Lavender. The A37 brings slight upgrade in the IP rating with now having an IP68 coming from 67 last year.

The display

In front, it uses 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, 1900 nits peak brightness and Vision Booster.

Inside, it is powered by 2.75GHz 4nm Exynos 1480 chip with Xclipse 530 GPU. It is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.

For battery, it still has 5,000mAh paired with 45W fast charging.

The cameras

In the camera deparment, the Samsung Galaxy A37 uses 50MP main camera with OIS + 8MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro helper + LED flash.

Selfies are handled with the 12MP HDR front camera.

Other features noted are stereo speakers and In-display fingerprint reader.

Connectivity features are WiFi 6 (2.4GHz/5GHz), 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and dual SIM.

For OS, the phone runs on Android 16 based on One UI 8.5. Users can also upgrade this for up to 6 years of OS and security updates.
