IFA 2018: Dell unveils new products under its Inspiron, Vostro lineup, and more!

The technology company has once again bombarded the industry with new offerings, such as the Inspiron Chromebook 14 2-in-1, the Vostro 14 and 15 5000 and premium 27 USB-C ultrathin displays and entry-level SE monitors.

The firm unveiled Chromebook under the Inspiron lineup, the Inspiron Chromebook 14 2-in-1. It sports a 14-inch FHD IPS display and seamless integration with Google applications and ecosystem. The device boasts an aluminum, narrow side-bezel design, showing a modern style. Inside, it has 8th Generation Intel Core i3-8130U CPU, battery life up to 15 hours and 28GB of onboard eMMC storage.

Its flagship XPS 13, meanwhile, is now equipped with the new Intel 8th Generation i3 processor, whereas the XPS 13 Developer Edition is available now with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (long-term support), allowing the device to have support for up to five years. Dell noted its XPS 13 2-in-1 becomes the smallest hybrid laptop to come with 8th gen processor. The 2-in-1 is also packer with Dynamic Power Mode to extract maximum performance from the processor, as well as good viewing experience with UltraSharp QHD+ InfinityEdge touch display.

Dell has also boosted its Vostro lineup with the introduction of Vostro 14 and 15 5000 laptops 8th Generation Intel Core processors, USB Type-C port that provides power delivery and displays support, and an optional Single-Sign-On fingerprint reader. The laptops features hardware TPM (Trusted Platform Module) 2.0, which provides commercial-grade protection and storage for encryption keys.

The company did not stop there as it has also launched the world’s brightest 27-inch USB-C ultrathin monitor in its class. Boasting up to 600 nits peak brightness, the Dell 27 USB-C Ultrathin (S2719DC) is a premium HDR monitor with VESA-certified DisplayHDR 600 and integrated with Corning Iris Glass light-guide plate (LGP) technology.
SE Monitors

At the event, Dell also took the spotlight for its new SE Monitors targeted for everyday computing. The new FHD monitors SE2219H, SE2419H and SE2719H come with thin bezels and are available in 21.5-inch, 23.8-inch, and 27-inch screen sizes respectively. Built with IPS panel, the SE monitor also comes with a flicker-free, low-haze screen, space-saving base.

The XPS 13 Developer Edition with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS is available now starting at USD 949.99. The XPS 13 with i3 will be available August 28 in U.S. starting at USD 899.99.

On the other hand, the XPS 13 2-in-1 with Intel 8th Generation processors will be available September 11 starting at USD 999.99.

Dell 27 USB-C Ultrathin Monitor will be available Sept. 20 starting at USD 549.99.

Dell 22/24/27 SE Monitors will be available September 25 starting at USD169.99 (22-inch), USD 199.99 (24-inch) and USD 249.99 (27-inch).

Vostro 5581 will be available Nov. 9 starting at USD 579.

Inspiron Chromebook 14 2-in-1 will be available at USD 599 from October 23.

We don't know yet if they will be available in PH though.
