Nokia just released two new affordable smartphones, the OPPO F9 is now finally official in the country, Huawei making noises again, plus the EISA Awards, a world consumer annual awarding of brands. These are the stories that caught people's attention in the past week.

5. Nokia 2.1 and 3.1 - HMD Global finally launched the two of their affordable smartphones line, the Nokia 2.1 and Nokia 3.1. Both retails at under PHP 10K tier. Nokia 2.1 boasts of its 4,000mAh battery and runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition). On the other hand, the Nokia 3.1runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and will be entering the Android One program. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

EISA Awards 2018-2019 - 9,036 hits as of writing

4. EISA Awards 2018-2019 - The Expert Imaging and Sound Association published their picks as top Mobile Devices. Familiar smartphones who made it to the list were Nokia 7 Plus, Honor 10, Huawei P20 Pro, and NOA Element 10.

3. OPPO F9 now official - The leaks were right that the OPPO F9 sports a brand new waterdrop screen design which has a very small notch among other smartphones. It boasts of its VOOC fast charge which means of a 5-minute charge equals to 2 hours of talk time. It retails for PHP 17,990.
