Xiaomi could launch the Mi 8 Youth and Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition soon?

According to the exclusive report by MySmartPrice, Xioami could expand its Mi 8 series soon.

The Chinese brand could make a Mi 8 Youth and Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition. They could be the new siblings of the Mi 8 SE, Mi 8, and Mi 8 Explorer Edition.

According to the leak, Mi 8 Youth will come in 4GB RAM/64GB ROM, 6GB RAM/64GB ROM, 6GB RAM/128GB ROM variants. It will be available in space gray, gold, and blue colors.

On the other hand, the Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition will be available in 6GB RAM/128GB ROM and 8GB RAM/128GB ROM versions. It will be offered in either black or blue colors.

The rest of the missing specs and other details of the phones wasn't revealed yet though. 

We can expect the Mi 8 Youth to be the lower-end device between the two. We won't be surprised if it'll also have the lower-end Snapdragon 710 SoC.

The Mi 8 Screen Fingerprint Edition could be the higher-end model between the two. Based on its name, it'll likely have the in-display fingerprint scanning technology, just like Vivo.

We can also expect it to have an identical design with the current Mi 8.

For now, let's wait and see if this rumor/leak is accurate.
