The main target of the academy is the young Filipinos who are looking to add essential job skills as well as build confidence in order to help them get a job easier. The "Skill to Succeed Academy" campaign was made possible by the efforts of Accenture, TESDA, Philippine Business for Social Progress Philippine Business for Education, Foundation for Information  Technology Education and Development and Bayan Academy for Social Entrepreneurship and Human Resources.

The launch of the academy comes at a time when the National Economic and Development Authority emphasized the need for workers to expands their skills. Improving the fundamentals of the 1.2 million graduates will be critical as it can give them an edge over the competition they face.
Skills to Succeed Academy is a free online training program
Skills to Succeed Academy is a free online training program

The academy's courses are designed for jobseekers ages 16 to 24. The three courses they have are as follows:

"You and Your Career" - Course with 6 modules that help participants choose a career-based on their interests, skills, motivation and style.

"Getting a Job" - A course with 20 modules focusing on helping participants develop skills essential for securing a job such as creating and tailoring their CVs, making a good first impression and preparing and handling interviews.

"Success in Work" - A course with 10 modules focusing on helping participants sustain a job and eventually develop a career. This covers stoking motivation, setting goals and behaving in the workplace.
