One of the most recent early reviews show that it beats the Apple iPhone XS Max in lowlight environments. This review written in Chinese by Unwire.hk tested the capability of the unreleased Google next flagship smartphone with the output of the latest Apple iPhone XS Max, the second best smartphone camera in the market today.

The two sets of camera samples below show that the Google Pixel 3 produced better lowlight photos than the Apple iPhone XS Max's. It showed more accurate white balance and nice exposure in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Google Pixel 3 XL sports a one 12MP rear camera while the Apple iPhone XS Max has dual 12MP rear cameras.

The Google Pixel 3 XL will be equipped with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, a notched 6.3-inch OLED screen, and Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 processor, plus 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It's also expected that the U.S.-based tech company will release a higher-end 6GB RAM version.
