Xiaomi reached 2018 target ahead of schedule, shipped over 100,000,000 smartphones worldwide

Xiaomi Corporation just reached their 2018 target ahead of schedule. The Chinese brand has successfully shipped 100 million smartphones last September.

100M in 9 months

It simply means that Xiaomi reached the over 100M mark in just 9 months. It also means that Xiaomi is likely to exceed their target this year as we still have 3 months left before the year ends.

The first Mi Store in the Philippines

This success by Xiaomi is due to the company's consistent commitment of delivering high-quality smartphones with affordable price tag for the specs and features.

They also expanded rapidly in other parts of the world including the Philippines. In 2018 alone, Xiaomi opened authorized Mi Stores in TriNoma, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, and Gateway mall.

Some of Xiaomi's notable products are the Redmi 5A, Redmi 6, Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 6 Pro, Mi A2, Mi 8, Mi MIX 2, and the new Mi MIX 3.

Xiaomi also introduced a new sub-brand, the POCOPHONE and launched the POCOPHONE F1. The POCOPHONE F1 is arguably the most affordable smartphone in the world with a flagship-grade 64-bit Snapdragon 845 AIE octa-core processor.
