Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air 12.5-inch with 7th Gen Intel Core i5 announced

In China, Xiaomi released a new version of the Mi Book Air. It's a 12.5-inch laptop with sleek design and powerful internals.

Like what we said above, it comes with a 12.5-inch screen with tiny 5.71 mm bezels. The display has a sharp FHD (1080p) resolution to view images and videos clearer and better. Inside, it now runs with the 7th Gen Intel Core i5 processor with 4GB RAM and 256GB of SDD internal storage.

It is a major step-up versus the slower Intel Core m3 processor. Moreover, Xiaomi claimed that it can last for around 11.5 hours on a single charger.

The laptop also comes with a USB-C port with fast charging, WiFi, and Windows 10 operating system.

Price and availability

The laptop is now on pre-order in China, but there's no confirmed sales date yet. It is priced at CNY 3,999 which translates to around PHP 30K.

There's now word regarding its international availability though. Let's hope that it will reach the Philippine shores.

It could be a decent start-up laptop for students and those who likes to work outside of the office.
