Samsung x Supreme Italia collaboration officially cancelled
Samsung has officially ended a proposed collaboration with Supreme Italia. It was announced by Samsung China through a Weibo post.

There were talks of a Samsung x Supreme Italia collaborative project since the launch of the Galaxy A8s in China last December 10, 2018. This partnership has been on the rocks since the beginning. Supreme NYC is not allowed to sell and market their products in China.
Supreme Italia, dubbed as a "legal but fake" brand, grabbed the opportunity to collaborate with Samsung since they are actually allowed to sell their products in China. The problem is, and why a lot of people are skeptical about the partnership, that Supreme Italia only exists through loopholes of intellectual property law loopholes. This means that all their Supreme branded items are deemed unofficial.
This is a great move by Samsung since meddling with this sketchy partnership can damage their reputation altogether. Pulling the plug on this project may have save them. Supreme Italia, being a company living in the grey area of intellectual property laws, could potentially bring them more problems in the long run.
