1. Great design with big Infinity-U screen - Samsung's Galaxy A50 highlights a 3D like glossy back with stylish blue, white, and black paint finish.

It is also one of the few with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with 19:5:9 screen aspect ratio and a tiny Infinity-U notch. As expected, colors from the screen are punch, and the bezels are considered slim regardless of the price.

2. 10nm chipset - Under the hood, the Galaxy A50 runs with the Exynos 9610 octa-core processor. It is a 10nm 64-bit chip with up to 2.3GHz clock speed.

Phones with the higher-end 10nm chip are uncommon at this price point. Phones with the said architecture often have better performance, power efficiency, and newer features than older or lower-end chips based on older manufacturing process.

Moreover, the Exynos 9610 chip has the Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. It's a chip that is good enough that can handle some heavy games.

3. Great overall specs - The Galaxy A50 also loads with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. 6GB RAM is quite large for multitasking especially at this price point.

The big 128GB storage will allow you to install more apps and games versus other similarly priced phones with lower default storage. You can even expand it to 512GB with the use of a microSD slot.

4. Triple-camera -The Galaxy A50 comes with a 25MP f/1.7 primary shooter + 8MP f/2.2 ultra wide-angle lens + 5MP depth sensor w/ AF and LED flash. It also has the AI Scene Optimizer feature. Samsung also claimed that it is a good camera phone for low light photography. We will see.

But, wait there's more. The Galaxy A50 is also equipped with a 25MP f/2.0 camera for selfies.

5. The price - The Samsung Galaxy A50 is priced at just PHP 17,990! To recall, the Galaxy A8+ (2018) with weaker specs is originally priced at PHP 32,990. The price of the Galaxy A50 is that attractive.
