Redmi 7A budget phone with Snapdragon 439 announced!

In China, Xiaomi's Redmi brand launched the 7A, the successor of the ultra-budget 6A last year.

Redmi 7A features 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 display like the 6A last year. But, it now runs with an upgraded 12nm Snapdragon 439 chip with Adreno 505 GPU, up to 3GB RAM, up to 32GB expandable storage, and 4,000mAh battery with 10W faster charging support.

On the camera part, it features a 13MP main camera with PDAF focus, AI scene detection, and LED flash. It also has a 5MP selfie camera with face beauty and AI face unlock.

Like other Redmi 7 phones, it also has a P2i water splash resistance coating. It also has a wireless FM Radio feature.

The phone runs with Android 9.0 Pie OS with MIUI 10 skin.

Redmi also highlights its Family Guardian app with SOS Emergency Help option to limit kid's use of the phone, location reminder when they enter an area, one-click guard, and more.

It also has a minimalist mode for elders with simplified MIUI features and large icons.
