In China, Vivo released the Z5x. It's a mid-range smartphone equipped with punch-hole screen and attractive specs for the price.

Vivo Z5x key specs and highlights

First off, Vivo Z5x highlights a gorgeous back design in midnight black, phantom back, and aurora blue gradient colors. In front, there's a large 6.53-inch 19:5:9 LCD with FHD+ 2340 x 1080 resolution and 90.77 percent of screen-to-body ratio.

Under the hood, it rocks a 10nm Snapdragon 710 processor clocked at 2.2GHz paired with Adreno 616 GPU. It also comes with 4GB/6GB LPDDR4x RAM, 64GB/128GB UFS 2.1 storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with micro SD, and massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W micro USB fast charging.

The phone also has a triple-camera setup at the back. It features a 16MP f/1.8 main camera, 8MP f/2.2 120-degree ultra-wide camera, and 2 MP f/2.4 depth camera. 

For selfies, it has a 16MP f/2.0 camera in the punch-hole.

The phone also has face unlock tech, fingerprint scanner at the back, WiFi ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5, GPS, GLONASS, and dual SIM slots.

It runs with Android 9.0 Pie OS w/ Funtouch OS 9 skin.

In China the phone will go on sale next. Price starts at CNY 1,398 (around PHP 10.5K) for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage version, CNY 1,498 (around PHP 11.3K) for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage version, CNY 1,698 (around PHP 12.8K) for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage version, and CNY 1,998 (around PHP 15K) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage version.

There is now word about its local date of availability yet.
