Another year, another rank increase. Huawei has just been named as BrandZ's 47th most valuable global brand.

In the past year, Huawei increased its brand value by 22 percent. From number 48 last year, it is now up to number 47 this year.
Huawei's brand value increase slowed down compared to the company's 22 percent increase last 2018 versus 2017.
But an increase is an increase. In fact, it is the fourth year of Huawei in the top 50 already. Obviously, the Chinese tech giant also outperformed the 53 out of 100 top global brands.
Because we continue to create technological innovations, HUAWEI ranks 47th in The World’s Most Valuable Brands, according to BrandZ’s rankings.
That is an impressive feat. As of writing, Huawei is the world's largest telecommunications-equipment manufacturer.
In 2018, Huawei is also unseated Apple as the second world's largest mobile phone brand in the world. Latest IDC Q1 2019 data showed that the company recorded a 50.3 percent YoY growth versus 2018.
Last December 2018, Huawei reported that its annual revenue had risen to USD 108.5 billion in 2018, a 21 percent increase over 2017.
