OPPO teases a prototype phone with under-display selfie camera technology!

On their official Twitter account OPPO teased an upcoming screen innovation, the under-display selfie camera technology.

A phone with a selfie camera hidden under the screen!

OPPO's prototype phone showed that it has no notch, punch-hole, and pop-up camera mechanism. Instead, OPPO cleverly placed the selfie camera under the display of the phone.

When the selfie camera is not in use, you'll see that it doesn't have a notch. But upon launching the camera app, a circular animation will appear to show that there's a hidden selfie camera under the display.

By the looks of it, this could be the so all-screen solution that a lot of manufacturers have been trying to figure out.

To my eyes, it is better looking than the punch-hole display implementation from the other brands right now.

It is still on prototype stage, but we can be looking at the future of full screen phones if OPPO can pull this feat off.
