Xiaomi showed a phone with under-display selfie camera too!

Aside from OPPO, Xiaomi also showed that they have an upcoming phone with an impressive under-display camera technology.

Glimpse of the future

In a Facebook video, Xiaomi showed its prototype phone with full screen design but with no notch or pop-up cameras side by side with a phone with a dewdrop notch. 

Hidden selfie cam under the screen

When Xiaomi opened the camera app on the left phone it showed that it can still take selfies even if it doesn't have a visible selfie camera.

It only means one thing, the selfie camera is neatly hidden under the screen.

What OPPO and Xiaomi showed us are two of the best looking implementations of phones with a true full screen design. Again, it looks better than the punch hole-camera design or the pop-up camera system found on other phones will full screen design.

However, we are still not sure when will this tech be available in the market yet.

One thing is for sure, it is a glimpse of the future.
