The result? It is good enough to be the 2nd highest scoring camera phone on DxOMark's ranking, beating other heavy hitters from Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, and more.

The device achieved a Photo score of 173 points, the highest today. But the video score score is just 156 (even if it achieved the highest telephoto video score yet).

The overall score of the vivo X200 Ultra is 167 points as it failed to dethrone the overall leader OPPO Find X8 Ultra with 169 points.

Note that DxOMark has yet to release the official camera rating of the HUAWEI Pura 80 Ultra.

Anyway, DxOMark noted that the phone has a reliable autofocus performance in diverse shooting conditions and its Portraits feature natural subject separation, balanced exposure, and well managed contrast. It also has an impressive detail retention across all zoom levels.

The con is zoom-in shots sometimes suffer from reduced sharpness.

To recap, the vivo X200 Ultra is a capable camera phone on paper. It uses a 50MP f/1.7 LYT-818 main shooter, 50MP f/2.0 LYT-818 ultra-wide camera, and a 200MP f/2.3 Samsung HP9 85mm ZEISS APO super telephoto camera. It also has the super light prism tech, the first in the industry to have a large three-group lens design periscope and OIS.

Moreover, the phone has dual imaging chips including the VS1 that handles pre-processing of image data and reduce the load of the main SoC as well as the V3+ manages post-processing, enhancing image quality. This solution allows 10-bit Log recording, 4K 120fps slow-motion video, and the first 4K time-lapse capability.

Unfortunately, this phone is not officially available in the Philippines.
