Vivo to showcase Apex 2019 with no ports and buttons in PH!

Vivo Philippines has just sent out invites to the press on June 24 to highlight its futuristic concept phone, the Apex 2019.

Apex 2019 is coming!

Apex 2019 is the company's first phone with no ports and buttons. Last MWC 2019, Vivo said that it uses a combination of capacitive touch and pressure-sensing technology to replace the usual power button and volume keys to achieve a seamless design and holeless design.

It is also using the MagPort technology, a unique magnetic connector at the back for charging and wireless data transfer.

The overall specs of this device is quite attractive too. IT is equipped with a bezel-less 6.39-inch AMOLED panel with an In-Display speaker which uses piezoelectric transducer to emit sound and the Full-Display Fingerprint Scanning tech. Sadly, there's no selfie camera in front.

Inside, it runs with the Snapdragon 855 SoC with 12GB RAM, and 256GB or 512GB storage.

In the camera department, it features 12MP + 13MP dual-camera setup with LED flash. Vivo highlights that it has the next-generation 5G tech as well.

The battery capacity and the rest of the missing details are still unknown for now. We'll know more about this phone next week.
