Based on a leaked image obtained by 9to5Google from an anonymous tipster, it seems like Google is working on a new version of Android OS specifically designed for feature phones.

Google feature phone?

Android feature-phone?

The handset reminds us of Nokia branded phones with a new-looking interface that comes with Google apps like Chrome and YouTube. It also has a Google Assistant with a "Change speaking language" option.

It should be different from Android (Go edition) and a bit similar compared to the KaiOS found on the Nokia 8110 4G.

Since it is a feature phone, do not expect it to come with a touch display. Instead, users should be able to navigate the phone using the traditional d-pad, shoulder buttons, and the number keys.

Going back to its interface, the mystery phone comes with a camera app and an unknown app. There's Google's four-color scheme in the middle, the app drawer of the phone. At left, you'll see the alerts text and at right you'll see the settings text.

Moving away from the software, the phone showed that it also has a selfie shooter.

Other than that, we do not know the rest of the missing details yet. Let us also take this info with a grain of salt for now.

What do you guys think?
