Redmi teases camera sample from its upcoming 64MP camera phone!

A month back, it was reported that Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is working on a phone with a monster 64MP camera.

Today, the charismatic budget phone brand revealed on Weibo that they have an upcoming smartphone with a 64MP shooter.

Redmi teased an image of a cat allegedly captured by its mystery 64MP camera phone. It comes with pretty punch colors and incredible amount of details even when cropped.

The camera sensor that was used here could be Samsung's new 64MP ISOCELL Bright GW1 with 0.8μm-sized pixels that can produce 16MP images using Tetracell technology by merging four pixels into one.

What does this mean? The launch of the Redmi phone with a 64MP camera is nearing.

Could Xiaomi beat realme and even Samsung by launching the first phone with a 64MP camera?
