Xiaomi enters the Fortune 500 list and now becomes the youngest on the list. The company started in 2010 making it just 9 years old this year.

Xiaomi ranked 468 as a newcomer on the Fortune 500 list

Xiaomi enters the Fortune Global 500 list for 2019 with the rank number 468. The company is listed with a revenue of USD 26,443.50 million and a net profit of USD 2,049.10 million in the previous fiscal year. It also ranked 7th in the Internet Services and Retailing company.

Fortune Global 500 is an annual ranking of the top 500 corporations across the world compiled and published by Fortune magazine for 67 consecutive years. The ranking is determined by revenue and net profit from the previous fiscal year.

Lei Jun, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi, stated that the company is grateful for the support of the "Mi Fans" and users.

The milestone of making the Fortune Global 500 as the youngest company this year is a big achievement for Xiaomi. Jun promises that it will always be in his mind as the company pushes for another level in global expansion.

Xiaomi was also named into the Fortune's China 500 list last June. It ranked 53rd in China. IDC's research also showed XIaomi as the world's 4th smartphone brand in terms of shipment sales volume as of March 2019.

It showed a YoY growth of 32.2 percent.
