After DxOMark's testing, the Galaxy A50 scored an 83! For a mid-ranger, this is impressive as it scored similarly to previous flagships such as the LG G7 ThinQ, Nokia 8 Sirroco and the Apple iPhone 7.
For photography, it scored a respectable 85 points while it scored 79 for videos. According to DxOMark, the Galaxy A50's highlights are its great color reproduction, wide dynamic range, great exposure, and white balance. The lowlights include fine detail levels, low light focus speed and accuracy as well as green and pink color casts.
Video recording struggled due to the inconsistent AF and the lack of image detail. Video color reproduction and noise reduction are great though. Its built-in stabilization was said to be impressive to according to the DxOMark team.
