Get ready! Realme will reveal its first 64MP quad-cam tech on August 8!

Just in! On August 8, 2019, realme will hold its very first camera innovation event, the star of the show will be its own interpretation of a quad-camera system.

64MP quad-camera system soon

Like other innovation events in the past, don't expect the company to release a phone that will be readily available in the market very soon.

Instead, we can expect realme to reveal key details regarding its upcoming quad-camera solution.

Based on its teaser image, it will highlight the world's first 64MP quad-camera technology on a smartphone.

Most likely, the 64MP sensor is ISOCELL Bright GW1 from Samsung. It is a camera sensor that will combine four pixels to produce 16MP images with better details and low light performance than most older camera solutions.

The other camera specs are unknown for now. But, we can expect it to have an ultra-wide sensor and a telephoto sensor. The 4th sensor could be a 3D ToF sensor for better depth sensing just like Galaxy S10 5G and Huawei P30 Pro.

But we won't be surprised if realme will try something new. Maybe it will also have a super zoom mode.
