Realme phone with 64MP primary camera in the works

On Twitter, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth teased that its company is working on a phone with a massive 64MP primary camera.

64MP realme phone soon?

According to his post, the company is working on a new "premium killer" with Samsung's new 64MP GW1 sensor with 1/1.72-inch size and 1.6µm pixel. Madhav Sheth added that it is designed to take amazingly clear shots in low light too.

The image he shared is a stunning skyscraper reflection shot. Based on its watermark, the phone he is teaser comes with a quad-camera setup.

The device is expected to be the rumored Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 855 device of realme.

It might be the company's answer to the Mi 9T series of its rival Xiaomi.

Recently, there are rumors that Xiaomi will also launch a phone with the same camera sensor.

There are no words when will it go official yet though.
